The full house and courtyard, with eight guest bedrooms, two living rooms, bar, function room etc.
Linens, wi-fi, Sky TV, heating and electricity and much more is included in rental price.
If your booking is made through a third party, an administration charge may be added by them to the published price.
Check in is strictly between 2pm-4pm. Check out is 10am.
Pool: The pool will not be available for use by guests from November 2016 onward.
Guests are requested to leave our self-catering property clean on departure – otherwise a final cleaning charge will be requested starting at €100 per day.
Any damage or loss that is not disclosed and discussed with the owners before departure will be billed to the client or charged to their credit card.
All guests must provide a credit card number on arrival no matter if they are settling up by other means. Any dispute about damage and or refunds must be addressed to the owner.
Refuse and waste
We ask all guests to separate their waste into recyclables, composting and landfill. We will look after composting but ALL bottles cardboard and all other non-recycling waste must be brought with the guest upon departure or you will incur a landfill and bottle bank charge of minimum €50.
If house cleaning is required during your stay there is a minimum service charge of €20 per hour.
House cleaning is provided if staying longer than one week. (One house clean per week)
Linen is included free of charge with all bookings. Charges will apply if damaged, stained or dyed by guests

We can also recommend some local takeaways in the area who would be happy to deliver to the house.
We are delighted to offer guests draught Guinness and lager in the comfort of your very own private lounge and bar located in the courtyard. Guests can talk to the office staff prior to their stay about ordering kegs.
Ice is available at the nearby shops (Supervalu in Moate).
Four Legged Friends
Pets are not allowed at the property.
We hope that you will have no reason to complain in respect of your rented property; should any difficulty arise please contact our office or speak to the owner during your stay who will assist you. This will allow us to assist you and take whatever action is required. All complaints must be brought to our attention during your stay at the property and must be followed up in writing within seven days of your departure from the property.
Cancellation Policy or Changes by You:
Should you cancel the reservation more than 30 days prior to the dates reserved, we will make every effort to re-let the property for the dates cancelled. If we succeed, your deposit (less any costs incurred) may be offset against a future reservation at Bishopstown House, if the property cannot be let for the dates you have booked your deposit will not be refunded. For cancellations received within 30 days of the rental date, the full rental charges shall apply.
Cancellation or Changes by Us:
Once we have confirmed your booking we will do our very best not to make any changes to your booking or to cancel it. Sometimes though changes do occur before and after bookings have been confirmed, and occasionally confirmed bookings have to be cancelled. We promise to do all we can to avoid changes and cancellations but must reserve the right to do so.
If we have to cancel we will offer you a full and speedy refund of all monies you have paid to us.
Please note that the rate you are quoted is for the rental of the property for your stay. Once the rate is agreed for rental and your deposit is paid, this rate will not be reduced if you discover you have a smaller group than expected for your event/stay.
Activities/events on the grounds/at the property
In the event of an accident causing injury to myself or another member of my group I acknowledge that the properties of Bishopstown House will not be liable for any damages/loss or injury that occurs.
We do everything we can to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on our website. However, most holidays are often planned many months in advance, and some of the information and prices shown may have changed by the time you come to book your holiday – and at the time of printing and uploading errors unfortunately can happen. It is important that you make sure you check all details, including the price, at the time of making your booking. As we are always trying to improve services and facilities, sometimes there may be small differences between the holiday accommodation/other services and the description given. Additionally for a number of reasons outside our control – weather conditions, repairs and maintenance etc. – some facilities or services may become unavailable. As soon as we become aware of any such situation, we will always tell you as soon as possible, if we believe your holiday is likely to be affected. However, we cannot accept responsibility for changes to or closures of local amenities/facilities and attractions etc., referred to in the website, which clearly are not under our control.
